what other work is there thats involved? Just curious. Im not set on anything. Oh and how much would it cost if I took it to a shop to install it you think? I mean I could probably do it with my step dad cause he has done swaps before but if its gonna be alot of work maybe I would just take it to a shop.

oh ok. yeah i didnt know. all I knew was that she went to college in NC. But yeah so around 600 and then to tune it? Where would I be able to find a 2.4L engine? Like online or somethin? Just wondering because my birthday is in a few months and that means I will get some money haha But yeah for the swap would it be a good idea to swap the tranny to? From the ATX I have now to the MTX? I mean I plan on doing that anyway but would it be better to do it when I swap the engine or just do it before?

How much does it coast to get your pistions bored to.20 over? Would you have to change anything on a stock neon to have that done?

Ok and where would I find the engine at? Junk yard ro online or somethin?
Try junkyards near you, ebay and www.car-part.com for the engine. For the SRT-4 rods and pistons, check www.srtforums.com or the SRT-4 section on these boards.

yea but the 2.4 swap isnt just a drop and go swap there is some more wokr invold then just that cuz i was going to go that route and i still might when i get another neon i alreadt have a block
It's not just drop and go, but it isn't very difficult either.

ok. so if i swap the 2.0 I have now for the 2.4 and just add the srt-4 internals would that be cheaper than just swapping for the whle srt-4 engine?
