haha yeah well Im in college right now workin my *** off whenever I get a chance saving every penny I can because I mainly want to get a MTX and 2.4L swap. Those are my two big main priorities/wants right now lol I have a bunch of other things that are sittin in my parents barn at home that will put on as soon as I get a free weekend. aka all the things in my signature that say "in progress" lol

i know how it goes....the wife want me to buy the house we have now.....but she knows that my car has to be done first...im dropping enough money into this car that we could of had a hefty down payment

tomorrow im gonna completely strip down my suspension so i can put a bunch of new junk on there and do alot of painting

haha yeah. Hey question since I see your online spud. Do you know of any good paint that I could use to paint my valve cover? I know powercoating is the best but I cant find anyone in my area that does it so I guess I will just paint it. Also like everything inside can you just use regular spray paint to paint? For example dash, vents, center console, etc.?? Thanks

That woudl be fine for the valve cover? Just have to clean it completely with like a degreaser right?

i used high temp enamel on mine.....now its gunmetal gray...and so is the intake manifold

Cool cool thanks guys. Question tho. How hard is it to take off the intake manifold? Because I would like to paint that too if I could and how long does the high temp paint take to dry and do I need to spray more than one coat? lol

the intake is fairly easy to take off..you need to remove the throttle body, power steering pump/bracket, and the thermostat housing to get to all the bolts...
you will probally want to spray a few coats....i did about 4 or 5
here is my intake and a few pics of it after i ported it out a little.....i remove the center divider between 2 &3 ports gasket matched the head side openings and removed the big humps in the middle
