ok I have anotherproblem and I did look this one up in previous threads but it is wheel hop. It looks like I can just get some Prothane motor mount inserts and it will take care of that bouncing feeling which loses all accelaration I may have in my atx neon. Is that right? cuz if its not i dont want to wastemoney on them. Alsoaparentlly my inner cv joints are badso would that have anything to do with it. shouldI get a heavy duty axel for maximum acceleration in my atx? thanks
The prothane inserts help reduce wheel hop tremendously, but they will add vibration to the inside of the car. Seeing that you have an ATX, your acceleration will be slow regardless though. Here is a site you may want to look at, if you want to make your ATX faster. http://halfahemi.com/fastatx/
Keep in mind that swapping to an MTX will make you instantly quicker.
My 99 would spin the tires a bit and get wheel hop. Not alot, but enough to notice. I just got a front prothane motor mount insert and it took care of it.
