Balance and assemble for about 350. My dad works at a remanurfacturing shop and has lots of tools, I can get it Re bored by them OR Have it honed (which ever is needed) Wehave to check the bore in cylender1 becausea pistonsidewall let go. So were gunna check foroblongbores and such. Hopefully i can find myself a LOW interest credit card (as thats how im paying for it cuz its better than getting a new car!) And ill hope to get this thing on the road by the end of spring!

both are needed......bore it, then hone it......make sure to hone the upper lip that is on the top of the cylinder wall....otherwise you will have the possiblility of catching a ring on the lip and breaking it.....
a block needs to be honed after its bored.....otherwise it might not be prefectly smooth

make sure that when they check the bore size, they dont measure it on he very top of the cylinder....you can feel the lip in there and it will throw off the whole bore

when you have the crank balanced, they dont use the block....only the whole rotating assembly components before the block is assembled
