i would like to get some coilovers, i am looking to drop my car 2 to 3 inches. i want rebuildable ones and i would prefere a company thats been around a while... any info

skunk2 lowering springs would give your car a 2-2.5 inch drop....very noticeable....id stay away from coilovers....just my .02

coilovers are prefect for racing and such....but for normal driving, its alot of money to spend

May I ask why? Adjustable true coilovers are freaking great, but an overkill for most neons.

I'm talking about the real coilovers of course that run about $1000, not the $100 ebay ones.

yeah I have the Skunk 2 kit and they lower you enough that it looks good. But if you are having a show car and want to be able to adjust the height and have the cash to spend then a good set of coilovers wouldnt be bad.

but it always isnt about looks.....handeling is a big factor

if you want looks, then just get some air bags

i would love to get a set of coilovers.......maybe down the road

haha yeah like spud said.. just get a set of air bags..plus ya get that cool air sound when you go up an down. this chick down the street has them on her cavalier and they are awesome but I dont have the mulah...
