Default still lost

were do i go to buy a fuel filter for my 98r/t. do i have to go to a dealer because i went to parts plus before work today and they dont even have one listed. also as i have posted before my car wont stop lunging over 3k rpm's. for the past few days the spedo has gone nuts to wen this has happened. any ideas on what this could be from and are the connected some how. i really got get this problem solved thnx.

i think the filter/regulator runs about $60-$70 from the dealership....but its been a while since i checked

however, if you had an early 95 with the metal tank, then you can pick up the filter from autozne for about $25

Damn it sucks to own Neon glad I don't have one I can find my parts anywhere.

glad i have a 95 with metal tank lol.

are you positive it is the fuel filter?
if you have any doubts, a good simple check would be to swap a throttle position sensor out with a known good one to see if it lies there. but if your positive it is the filter, get er done.

Autozone shows they carry one for the 96 for about $20. Don't see why it couldn't be used in the 98. Does SOHC or DOHC matter spud?

something else started yesterday . spedo was goin nuts and when it stoped fliping out all the gauges just got stuck in place. however the car didnt jerk after that at 3k rpm. instead it was only at like 5k.
