Default searching high and low for tail light wiring harness

Well a few days ago some a**hole decided they would go parts shopping on my truck. They stole my driver tail light and brok the other one. What is the world coming to when people steal a freaking tail light. Have new tail lights ordered but not can't find the wiring harness for the blubs. Dealership wants 95.00 for it. That is a rip off its a foot foot and a half long with two sockets and a connector on the other end. no auto part store carries it, and every website i have checked doesn't have it. Called around to every junk yard I could find and no one has the part. HELP........... if anyone know where can find a tail light wiring harness for a 99 dodge ram 2500 please let me know.

Head to the junk yard or make your own.

Do the new lights come with the sockets? I wouldn't worry about the connector, because you can just cut the other end out and wire the lights in without it. Not having the sockets could be a problem though.

then buy some new sockets. any parts store should have them in stock. rock auto has the ones for 3157 bulbs listed for $9 and the ones for 1157 bulbs listed for $4.

Every junk yard I have been in has a communication system with other junk yards so they can find the parts you need if they want to help. You may have to request this service for something this small. If they won't help they don't deserve your business, find another friendlier junk yard.

i think you are not understanding us or not explaining yourself clearly. you will most likely have to replace and rewire your own tail lights.
