Great lookin' truck! I agree, the badlands are beautiful.

What carrier is in your rear end? Looks like an LSD... Is it just a factory Trac-Loc? Also noticed your A/C is not in use. Did that make any difference in engine characteristics? Diff cover looks good, nice pics, nice truck Keep em comin'!

As for the rear end, I have no idea. I havent changed it and idk about a previous ower. I think it is a limited-slip but thats about all I know and I dont even know that for sure.

Havnt noticed any difference with the A/C cut out. The reason it is bypassed is because the belt squeaks too much with it on. Not sure if its the pully on the compressor or do to my crankshaft problem. my a/c doesnt work anyway although I did have it charged the other day and it worked for a couple days.

my 91 d250 did the same passenger door lock problem you want to talk about annoying and the dam latch felt tight and i put new door pins in it (ebay $7) but if yah go ahead and replace the latch with a new one, make sure you use light oil on it like wd40 any heavier and it will act like a dirt magnet and you lock issues should be fixt, i put upwith mine for 7 years before fixing it hope this help w.m. ps; awsome truck nice work

nice truck! what size tires and how big of a lift does it have??? Next time you change the gear oil rotate the gears around there will me some numbers stamped onto the big gear you divide them up and it gives you the gear ratio.. another factor in your bad fuel mileage could be wind.. soon as the wind round here kicks up my mileage goes from like 16 on the highway down to like 10 or maybe 5. if you dont mind me asking it seems like a long road trip to take from alabama to seattle are you moving? or just on vacation ?

Just a heads up, this is an old thread. Andrew (Comrade General) moved up here when he got stationed here in the coast guard. He is underway on his boat right now until some time in december, so that's why I am answering your question.

His truck has a 6" lift and a dana 60/70 set out of a 3/4 ton dodge now. And 35" tires. I wanna say 3.55 gears.

That is a Lock Right isn't it? I want one for the rear of my W150 as well.

That differential carrier is a Trac-lok Limited slip. Lock rights are a cheap and easy way to do an automatic locker. I have some kind of auto locker in my jeep and I love it.
