Default 72-80 Included in this Forum?

I'm not a frequent contributor to these forums, and in fact have not visited this site in many months. If the info I seek is somewhere on this site please forgive a newbie. Since 1972 - 1993 Dodge trucks are fundamentally the same, really only the name changed in 1981, is discussion for these years allowed/okay in this forum? Thanks!

I was a senior in high school when the all-new 1972 Dodge trucks hit the dealerships. I hated it. Over the decades since then I have warmed-up to them, and in fact owned a 1986 (Ram) from 95-99. Now I am interested in a 72-79 +/- pickup.
Should I direct questions/comments about these trucks in the Classics forum? Thanks

This is as good a place as any, and I do believe it sees more traffic as well.

Hey, make like a ground squirrel and gopher it. I found most of the people here are pretty open minded and not very many trolls. There was a major change in '80 but you're right, they are pretty much the same. I've even helped swap big blocks into 1979 and later units.

Thanks all.

A few years ago a friend of mine bought a Li'l Red Express truck with (advertised) 71 actual miles. I had seen this truck advertised on the internet before he bought it. Not that I want a LRE, but a Utiline shortbed would be cool. Even better with a 225 Slant.
