85 W350 Crew Cab - back door stuck
Perhaps but my door isn't that bad other than the one spot. I will mess with it and see what I can get done. The bed side behind the door was hit as well and I am going to try and use some air bags to put that out some. I believe that I can get a new bed side if I really want it nice but I don't think I am going down that road. I kind of like them ratty looking, I have enough shiny vehicles already. It does have a crappy white paint job over the USAF blue, we will see how that holds up when I pressure wash it.
Old Air Force truck? Well, it was at least reasonably maintained then..... though, I have seen how various service folk treat their vehicles..... When I was stationed at K. I. Sawyer AFB, the cops got bath of brand new Ford Explorers...... 8 of them, I think. Within six months, 7 of them were no longer serviceable.....
and number 8 didn't last out a full year.
.....I kinda like having my vehicles, especially my trucks.... a little on the ratty side. I am far less concerned about how it looks, as opposed to how it performs, and how reliable it is. Given some of the places I have taken my trucks...... (mainly due to the work I was doing at the time..) being concerned about body work would have had me tearing my hair out.
Traipsing thru the backwoods, hauling a chipper, thru an old growth forest? Yeah, not conducive to keeping the body work straight.
