Have a 2006 Ram 1500 Quad cab, 1 yr old. While driving, it blows a fuse that cuts the engine off. It has been tested at the dealership and they cannot find a reason...computers show nothing. Since they've now run out of brave service techs to test drive the truck, they're ready to send it home and giving me extra fuses as they know it will blow again (as it did on them). HELP.....what am I missing. This service dept has always been good (had Dodge trucks for several years and no problem with the service dept). Any ideas?

 

What is the cav numberthe fuse is in.

 

It is the number 2 slot, engine control relay.

 

Who cares what the cause is! If Dodge can't fix it (under 1 yeay and I assume under full warenty) ave them give you a new one before it becomes a real mess with only you liabale for it.

 

Did you try asking in the right ram section?

 

Bingo, look before hitting "new thread" to make sure you're talking to guys who actually have trucks that share at least one component with yours.
