Hey yall! I drive an '86 with an inline 6 and am finally ready to run with the big boys and swap in a V8..the problem is I just cant find one..Money isnt really an issue although the cheaper the better, buut 318..360..it dont matter as long as its a v8..any links to where I can find a good one would be greatly appreciated

I'd look around for a complete truck. I bought an '85 that runs and drives for $200 and have seen several others under $500.

Yeah, the first gens have really low resale for some reason. Good idea to buy a whole truck, that way you have the engine plus spare parts for the rest of your truck.

i also have a 318 along with a TF trans (727) motor runs but needs refreshing trans was recently rebuilt space_heretic@hotmail.com located in so cali 200 bucks for everything i got for it.(79 motor and trans 4 barrel newer thermoquad sadly it comes with points)
