91 w150 4X4 brakes
well last thursday i went and got 2 new front rotors and pads, and i got 2 new shoes and wheel cylinders for the back, about $200-210, i got the front all done (took all day saturday), the hardest part was removing the old rotor and the hub it took about an hour for the first one, trying to figure out how we could get it apart, the problem is the back trying to get the old drums off, tryed pb blaster and a hammer and that didnt do it, i think mabe the old shoes have worn a bit into the drums so thats why they wont come off, or they are just rusted on there really bad, anyone got any easy way i could get them off with out renting a wheel puller?, thanks
Did you remove the oval rubber plug and adjust the brakes in off the drum,if not start there, then spray around the hub with wd40 or?,then hit the drum around the hub with a hammer, don't hit the studs.
i didnt try the adjuster yet, mabe tommorow, to many cars in garage, got my dads cop car, my brothers mustang, my dads 79 pontiac and then everyone is fighting over the last spot, my brothers got to put his new 5inch exhaust on tonight and tommorow morning, so mabe after that i will try, but even still shouldnt the drum be able to wiggle some even if it was cause the shoes wore into it?

If it's stuck in the center, I've had to heat the drum around the register on the axle, pry outwards on the drum and knock the hell out of it with a hammer.
If it's loose from the axle, but hung on the shoes, you'll have to back the adjusters off if they'll turn. If they're not rusted solid, bend a peice of stiff wire on the end to clear the adjuster and hold the adjuster lever off the ratchet wheel while you back 'em off.
If they won't turn you'll have to cut the retainer pins off with a chisel and pry the drum off shoes and all.
