Thumbs up I figured it out

well I have that new tbi on my power ram and there was a gas leak. I thought it was the tbi all this time but, turns out one of the short metal fuel lines along the right valve cover going to the tbi has a pin hole leak and its dripping gas down on the manifiold. The drip gets bigger as the gas pedal is tapped. Where do I get a new metal fuel line??

Check your local auto parts store to see if they have an exact replacement, or do what I do, fabricate one from a generic metal fuel line. The TBI runs at about 12 p.s.i. so you don't have to worry about the pressure splitting it. You could even splice in some rubber fuel injection line if you want.

i bought an end flaring tool to make lines for my rambler.

but i use the tool more for othner stuff. once you have it brake and fuel line repair becomes so much less hassle. no more friggen around trying to get the right part or to not snap the one there. just cut out the bad piece, flare, and thread. worth the money

so all i have to do is unhook that metal line, cut that small cracked section out and install a piece of 5/16" fuel inject. line and two small hose clamps. Did I miss anything?

I thought thats what fuel injection rubber line was?

I was told use only that on a fuel injection setup and regular rubber line for carburetor.
