Default need help, wont start

well my truck has been sitting for the past week with the three snow storms we had, i figured out that i must be missing a peice of trim because snow blows in between the top of hood and wiper blades, so the engine has alot of snow on it, have been trying to start it over the past few days, dont know what is wrong, i put a big block heater on it for a few hours thinking it was so cold it wouldnt start and that didnt work, i also tryed starting fluid spray and that didnt work either, the only thing i can think of is that something is wet and it doesnt like it, i had it running a week and a half ago to do my video and it has been sitting sence, so any ideas, thanks

Sounds like you have moisture in your distributor cap. Does it pop or back fire threw the carb or exaust when you try to start it?

Spray some WD-40 in the cap to displace the moisture. Hopefully that does the trick, works for me.

Its usually the simple things that will stump you. I always like to start diagnosing the simple things first.

you can always try tapping the starter with a hammer while trying to turn it over
