The four barrel will be more likely to help all around,it will probably have smaller primaries which will help low end and throttle response.
I personaly like Eddy's,but its a matter of your taste.

What needs to be changed other than intake to go to a 4bbl?

When I changed mine to a four, I had a bit of difficulty finding a few of the fittings for the vacum. also I believe you have to make sure to order thicker intake gaskets. I know I did on mine or the intake bolts didn't quite line up correctly.

Ok, its early in the morning and I have no coffee. Anyway, when changing to a four barrel, it would be very prudent to look into changing the cam as well. If the three, carb, intake, and cam are not matched, your performance will leave much to desire.

What exactly do you want to achieve is the question, more torque, Hp or both? You can buy a higher flowing 2v carb or just get a 4v. If you want to save some fuel try to find a higher flowing 2v. But 4v, I would go with the Holley Truck Avenger carburetor, do your research before purchases though.

To what 83dodgeswb4x4 mentioned ...."carb, intake, and cam are not matched, your performance will leave much to desire." Pick your rpm range. Edelbrock has packages like this (matching), but I couldn't tell you how many off the top of my head. Check out Summit racing or Edelbrock themselves.

What do you have for exhaust at this moment?

I want to get torque and Hp. And I would like to stay with A 2bbl carb. Now I have alot of low end torque, but I want more all around torque.

I have an Edelbrock on my truck, but I changed cams and intake. If your wanting good driveability, I would ge with an Edelbrock with vacuum secondaries.

Ok, but what is the current exhaust situation? stock manifolds? stock piping? headers? aftermarket piping?
