Default Pedal bushings?

Its been a while, been busy tinkering on this and that. Replaced the Z-bar bushings, seals , the washers along the linkage and the clutch still clunks and binds slightly. Ok no biggy, I'll just yank the pedal and repalce the bushing as I have isolated the noise to that location. Great, now where in the world does a body find pedal bushings for an 83 W150? I know I can get new ones for the 70's A/C and B/E bods, but that really doesn't do me much good. Anyone have any ideas? I've checked with four differnt dealers and no dice.

I'm sure you know more about this than me. But if you can't buy new anywhere, that leaves the junkyards or some luck finding an 83 just out in the outback. You might get the junkyard to find a clutch pedal with their computer network search, you might have to go for the pedal to get the bushings.

Thought about that, but on earlier attempts to find parts I have come to find very few of these still reside in junk yards around here. I think for the trouble, I'll just have a local machine shop make a set of brass bushings. But thanks for the reply.

The hardware store has a bunch of assorted brass bushings that are cheap. If they are not a perfect fit you can save money by starting with one of these when you go to the machine shop.

Try looking for bushings for riding mowers. Our Craftsman uses a brass bushing on the steering shaft, so I`m sure you might can find something similar.
