Default Truck update with new tires.

Just figured I'd update you guys on how my trucks turning out. I recently found some caps for it and bought a set of Hercules Trail Digger M/T's 31 x 10.5, they work great off road and are surprisingly quiet on the highway for a mud terrain. Debating on getting it painted now or running duals. Let me know what you guys think.

One step closer.
Paint or duals?
Whats in your budget?
How much bodywork is needed, can the paint be buffed out at all,are you going to change colors? The paint looks faded but not bad.
Will the exhaust need replaced in the near future, putting on headers?
These may be some questions to help with your decision.

I've been trying to wax the paint, thinking about trying turtle wax clay bar, Im told it should make a big difference. As for the exhaust, i think its brand new but someone mentioned to just cut it out, but now that I think of it I may wait.

yea for 100-150 bucks you could snag a nice buffer (if you dont already have one) and a good quality rub (Meguiar's ColourX for 10 bucks will do it). If you do go this way, buy a polisher, not a buffer. I cheaped out and bought polisher, burnt it out, and didnt get a good shine.

i cant tell from the pictures, but is the black strip factory paint or rockerguard? the two tone makes body work easier (because working along the bottom you only need to paint that area)

PS. i just repainted my own truck with tremclad. 8 parts tremclad, 4 parts medium speed reducer, 1 part hardener. looks decent for under 100 bucks.

I'll try the buffer we have one at work I could borrow. The black is rockergaurd, really low quality stuff tho it rubs right off. Any pics of your truck? Thanks.
