Default Dash lights quit working?? Help!

I have a 83 d150 and the dash lights quit working, i was wiring trailer lights for the truck, which i didnt notice if they were working before hand. The fuse checked out good. Do they have a fusable link to the dash lights, the parking lamps all work, just the dash lights dont. Any help would be appreciated.

The same fuse controls the lights for heater& A/C control, ash tray, and the display on the radio.
If none of those work it may be the headlight switch gone bad.
Have you tried twisting the h/light know back and forth with it in the on position?

you might have a whole bunch of dead light bulbs. it is not to uncommon. all the dash lights in my dads 95 f150 don't work. we know there all dead but it's a ford and they are more of a pain in the a$$ to change. i would be testing the light bulbs before wasting too much time chasing a problem that does not exist.
