Default 1989 dodge ram no spark

I have a 1989 dodge ram d-150 4wd, i have replaced the transmission myself i did a swap my old tranny went out so i pulled one out of my spare 89 ramcharger, it ran after this. I prolly didnt even run more than 15 miles on the transmission before i lost spark to all pistons. I had been working on the gas tank and ran new lines, is there maybe a fuel sensor that didnt like my new lines? help me diagnose this and repair i want my truck back "crys, i hate my 302 ford f-150"

Check and see if you have fuel spray and juice to the coil. If no to both, my guess would be your ASD relay.

The ASD only controls the fuel pump. First see if you have power to the coil.

Unhook the coil wire from the distributor and check for spark, if you have none its either your coil or the spark box/electronic control on the drivers side firewall ( square box with one plug on the right of it)

One more thing to check is that dreaded porceline piece right next to it with the 2 wires, see if it is cracked bad, they go all the time.

In the 89, power to the positive side of the coil comes from pin 12 in the 14 pin connector on the computer. If you remove the positive wire from the coil and have no power you can check for power at the 14 pin connector to find out if it is the computer or the wire.

Sonier, I must apologize for a previous post as I have done more research and found a problem with one of my manuals and I gave you some incorrect info because of it. The wiring diagram in my manual is incorrect and I have found 2 more misstatements in this f-ing manual on this subject. "Hey watch this" was correct. The ASD does control the fuel pump, ignition coil, and the power module itself.

Does the fuel pump come on when you turn on the key? You should be able to hear it. If not it is most likely the ASD. Again I apologize for the bad info that caused me to lead you astray.

Well i did a fuel line change or attempted to for number of reasons,
speedometer cable would not align with new transmission with side gas tank, I also had cracked aluminum fuel lines, i replaced the fuel lines with 3/8 ID tubing all the way aroudn and i had this issue shortly after. right now i do not have the fuel pump hooked up or any of the wiring, i havnt gotten to that cause i figured it useless to have fuel with no spark. I was takign this one step at a time, im going to attempt to do the proper fuel line change, and see if this helps.
Thankyou everyone
