i walk into the dealer about a month ago and got the build sheet for my truck. i was quite interested to find out some of the the stuff my truck came from the factory with.

 

Radio delete? Wonder how much that one saved. The tinted windows is interesting.

 

it looks like it came from the factory with all the wires for a radio even if it didn't have a radio. when i got my truck there was no stereo in but the wires were there but had been cut and there was no speakers. i don't know about the tinted windows. the only tint i see is on the front windshield.

 

Didn't realize rear shocks was an option

 

Yah Chrysler builds one body, one chassis, and one wiring harness. Then they install the options you ordered. Seems every car and truck they made has the holes/wires/mounts for any option! Makes upgrading easy haha

the build sheet was free.

 

I had a list printed with the options from my truck and it said 24 gal gas tank. When I called the junk yard looking for a tank with out a hole they asked if it was a 22 or 30 gal......whats up with that?

 

all data says the same thing. they came with 22 or 30 galon tanks.

 

when i got mine it said my truck is a d series... i had to argue it out with the parts manager, but everything else was correct
