My truck needs a transmission, any help?
I own a 1988 Dodge ram 50 custom. its auto and 4x4.
Its built by mitsubishi, So heres the question:
My friend has a 4 speed auto transmission off a L4 engine 2.0 (same as mine)
execpt its from a 02' mitsubishi that I doubt is a 4x4. any help or any ideas if i can install it?

No I am almost sure it will not work. Your tranny is probably hydraulically controlled and the 02 is electronically controlled. Not to mention probably different motors, even if they are the same displacement. So basically there is a very very small chance that they are even remotely close to being the same.
