Relay location 86

Default Relay location 86

I cannot find relay for idle stop solenoid 2bbl Holley on 1986 318 D100,print shows to be one ,no voltage going to solenoid.

I don't see an idle stop solenoid relay in the diagram. I see a stop solenoid relay(ASD). The ASD relay is on the drivers fender just below the hood spring.

Another question -- The vacuum solenoid on passenger fender well works if you appy 12v and ground --but the 2 wires going to it (orange)
(white with red tracer) both have 12v + how does it pick up a ground to open? Or is there a shorted wire or diode in circuit?

It may be grounded thru the screws into the fender but I am not sure. They used this method for the external voltage regulators.
