92 ram bucks in 4th

Default 92 ram bucks in 4th

have a92 ram 5.2 startsc and idles fine it has an automatic trans. when it gets into 4th gear bucks like amule code 32 shows up swapped egr from running 93 dakota made no difference why cant i get the egr code to go away and is this probably my problem. check engine light is supposed to come on with this code buty it doesnt. HELP

have you checked the plenum gasket? a bad plenum gasket could clog your cat and cause other problems. the easiest way to see if the plenum gasket is to take the air filter off and look down the throttle body for oil.

it is wet down inside the intake looking down the throttle body

the plenum gasket is most likely blown. it happens to pretty much every magnum engine eventually unless someone has replaced it with a Hughes PLENUM REPAIR KIT or something similar. i don't even really get the point of having a plate bolted to the bottom of the intake.

yes have a93 dakota to trade parts with have done alot of work to this truck changed ecm last night test run to come

changed the computer and map sensor from 93 dakota also cleared partially clogged vac. port on intake it ran perfect today went 50 miles no problems but i need to figure out which of the three things actually cured it . i have seen alot of the same issues in this forum i hope it helps others.

found problem dirty connector at map sensor remember SIMPLE SOLLUTIONS FIRST remove and spray with contact cleaner all connections especially sensors

wrong again im aparts changer troubleshooter and guess what it was a bad pcm from advanced auto they reurned the part fur a new one the first one was wrong it for high altitudes truck runs perfect again.
