Single cab 89 d250, behind the benc seat, hanging about halfway up the bpost are two wires, going into a harness on each side (drivers and passengers).
The right side has brown w/ yellow stripe and brown w/ wht stripe, and the left side has blue w/ wht stripe and blue w/ orange stripe.
The harnesses at the ends are angled a bit and not rectangular shaped. These are definetly stock wires and harnesses in my truck, just not sure what the hell they are for??
Haha, didnt know the damn thing even had that option. So if I want the junky stock head unit to push rear speakers, just splice into those and put somthing light back there?
Actually, one follow up question. Does anyone know if the stock headunit is the same for the two speaker trucks and the ones that came with 4 speakers?
Not sure, but I went to the junkyard and got an Infinity head unit out of a '96 or '97 Grand Cherokee for $30, mainly because I wanted a CD player. It plugs into factory harness and looks like it was there from the factory.

Hey, now thats a good idea, I like it! Ill swing over to my local yard and see what I can find.
I put a set of speakers to the wiring back there and nothing, from either side. That is why I was wondering if maybe different stock headunits for the 2 or 4 speaker set ups. Not sure why those wires wouldnt work?
is there controls to adjust where the sound come from like left, right, front or rear? from what i have seen any dodge truck stereo hole from 81-01 is the same so you can pretty much take any dodge stereo out of another Chrysler vehicle through out those years and it should fit.

Yeah, I have tried messing with the balance and fade on it and still nothin?? Not sure what the deal is, I may try a different speaker to see if that was it.
