Im also doing a full resto I had the cab off the frame and up on its backside so the floor was facing out. Good luck
That's the funny part about the floor pan problem. You'd expect other things under the truck to show corrosion, but there's nothing. I still have numbers showing on my frame rails from the factory, markings on my rear diff cover, not a speck of rust anywhere under this truck. Not sure if something maybe hit the floor pan enough to scratch it to bare metal at one time, who knows. Either way, eventually it'll be fixed with replacement steel, but for now, had to do what I had to do. Has to be better than leaving it alone.

I have a question: I have a donor truck that the floors have been replaced, my question is, I'm thinking of cutting the floor's and tunnel out and place it into my truck. What do you guy's think? Would it be easier to buy the panels and fab a new tunnel? Thanks for the info on where to get replacement panels.

From what I've seen online, the pans are pretty cheap. If your donor's are perfect, then it may be worth cutting them out. At least you know they'll fit. On the other hand, you could buy both side floor panels for under $60 plus shipping, then maybe cut out the tunnel of the donor. Hard to say really without seeing exactly what you're working with, available tools, etc.
