Worked hard and got all the vacuum line back in place on the new D150. She is running very good now but no heat and I think these lines have something to do with it but not sure.
If anyone has any idea where they hook up would be great help. Working on getting some good day light pictures to post up.
i would probably check the door in the heater box. you can see the control for it on top of the heater box behind the glove box. if yours was to stick as much as mine does i don't think any vacuum controller would be able to open or close it. if it was stuck open you would only get cold air or if it is not 100% closed you may get warm air but not hot air. the door could also be being held open by leafs and debris that come in the cold air vent.
Do not think the vacuum is hooked, because the lines in the pic at not connected to anything and I cannot find any information to point me where they go.
there should be a vacuum port tree on the back of the driver side intake. it might be hiding under the air filter. i would guess that is where they should be hooked up but i am not 100% sure since my trucks never had a/c.
One of those vacuum lines goes to the vacuum tree (drivers side line) and the other goes to the vacuum operated water control valve (passengers side line). The water control valve is in the water heater supply hose between the water pump and the heater core inlet.
