i would be checking more vans at the junkyard. i found a website that said those same brackets were used on a 1990 ram van with the v6. i would guess the other vans 89 and newer would have the same brackets.

It may depend on whether the crossmember is the same from vans to pickups.

You can help out the tranny with a deep pan, cooler, shift kit and small converter. Esp since you will be towing.

I liked my V6 for a lot of reasons. Great as a daily driver. It was no slouch but bigger tires really slowed it down on the highway. With P235/75/15's it would run at 75 mph all day long, hills and all. Now burnouts, that will never happen though. LOL

Sounds like you made a good decision. I'm hoping to put mine to use in a Dakota some day.

it is similar. according to rockauto the vans used the same motor mounts between 79-03 so i think they must use a bracket like you have on the newer vans since the magnum v6's don't have the front ears like the magnum v8.
