Default Windshield Wiper Problem!

I have a 92' power ram 150 and recently the wipers stopped working. The motor for the wipers works, but it appears that the bolt that connects from the motor to the wipers is rusted off. Is the best way to fix this to take out the wiper motor and go from there? Any suggestions? This is my first old truck and I'm not very mechanically inclined, so any help would be very much appreciated!

i would guess if your motor is working and your wipers are not moving you may have a broken wiper bushing. they are only made out of plastic. you have to remove the cowl to get at it all anyway. would probably be a good idea to replace them.

My 76 has done the same thing, but I can't get the arms off.
I can't find tabs to do it either.....

There was a thread with pictures not to long ago that talked about the wiper arms on the older 1st Gens.
