i have not painted my intake yet but i was planning on using Dupli-Color engine enamel paint. i used the stuff on my valve covers and it has held up fairly good so far.

it wasnt wrinkle paint i think it was the shadow paint Dupli-Color has out but putting that on an intake might make it fade out or crack in places ya think?

well i don't know if it would last on an intake. the dupli color website does not mention anything about that shadow paint really being heat resistant. the engine enamel paint says it is good for temps up to 500*f.

That shadow paint is good for up to 350*F. If your intake gets over 350* you have bigger problems to worry about than your paint. I wonder how well the shadow paint will work on a ruff surface like an intake instead of smooth valve covers.
