i wouldnt suggest making the spacer out of steel, it wont let the heat disapate... make it out of aluminum, it will alow the heat to disapate and is softer so when you tighten it down you got a better chance of no leaks... try to make it too so that the venturi of the throttle body flows smoothly into the intake bore, they might be different sizes
