Get a different aircleaner?

Either way, you're in the wrong forum, my man.

you are in the right forum. i think dodge dude might be a bit confused or maybe you originally posted in the wrong section and a mod moved it to the correct section.

What could cause me to be getting power on the negative terminal on the coil..also where does that wire go to. Should it be grounded to the motor??a lot of wiring has been changed on this motor in the past and im not sure where a safe place to run that wire to would be?

the ignition box grounds the coil. you will see power on the negative side of the coil until the ignition box grounds the coil. the pickup in the distributor tell the ignition box when to ground the coil.
