Default Bulkhead

I could reall use a wiring diagram fo an 81 dodge ram. I have an 88 Ramcharger I dropped a 440 in and got alot of it figured ou just need info on the wiring!!!! Thank you

so your trying to figure out what wires in the bulkhead connector do what? are you trying to find something for a a 81 or 87? there is a difference.

The motor is probably an 81, so he probably needs the wiring for an 81 with a 440. I think.

no 81 ever came with a 440. someone would have had to install it. without more details that we can understand can't really help. only advise would be buy a service manual for the truck you are trying to fix.

the last year for a 440 was 1978. i had a 82 ram i put 360 in that came with a 318. the 82 had bolt holes for a 440 in the fame.

Sorry about the confusion! I have an 88 Ramcharger that I pulled the 318 efi, and dropped a 440 in. I got a wiring harness from an 81 ram . I just need a wiring diagram for the 81 . The rest I can figure out .
Any other info or past experience with a engine swap is welcome thank you kindly.

the bulk head connector on a 81 is different than the bulkhead connector on a 88.




this is for a 87 but should be almost the same as 88
