Ok, well I guess it was correct except I was missing the return spring on mine. But maybe since it was only a 2bbl it didnt come with one. I had just seen some other pics of chrysler/dodge linkages that looked a lot more intricate. Good to know though.

To me, the return spring looks slightly like an after thought, but oh well! lol

your truck should have a return spring as long as it is an auto. it is suppose to pull the kickdown linkage forward when you let off the gas. looks like your is missing dodge dude

ok. as long as it is not missing you are good. if the spring is missing it could effect the way the trans acts.

So I had no springs at all, where should the kickdown spring you are talking about be?

in all the photo's you post i have not seen a single return spring for you kickdown linkage.
