Default 1989 power ram with wrong motor?

So I just took possession of my day's aging power ram. According to what I can find, it should be fuel injected, but it is running a nice little Holley 2 bbl. the vac diagram on the hood shows a throttle body, and I have über vacuum issues.

Should I be seeking a diagram from maybe an 88 or earlier?

Anybody got one????

Thanks

Charlie

89 would have TBI, so it's possible the vacuum diagram would look like a TB.
Your truck may have been converted to carb at one point? IDK.

Exactly what I thought, do you know when they stopped coming equipped with the 2bbl or where I could get a vac diagram?

holley also made throttle bodies for the TBI and they looked very similar to the 2 bbl carbs. this is most likely what you have sitting under the air filter

You are the man....that is exactly what I have sitting under the air cleaner....so that makes the vacuum diagram on the hood accurate.

How does one service the throttle body?

the diagram on the hood would be correct.

if fixing any vacuum leaks solves any issues you are having then i would not touch the throttle body.
