Window Regulator Frozen
No rocks or other debris. I put new window seals on last year and stuff doesn't get in there too easily.
I found a replacement manual window regulator at a junkyard today with the intention of removing the stuck one and if it can't be fixed, replace it with the one I just purchased. The guy at the yard said the ball bearings in the assembly where the handle attaches to might be the problem. Anyone else have this problem?
To remove the window regulator, the service manual says to lower the window. If I could lower the window, I would not be having this problem. Any suggestions?
Also, could the assembly that houses the bearings be removed without removing the window regulator?
Thanks!

I examined the "new" regulator and determined the two gears might be jammed or wedged together, causing mechanism to be locked up. So, I pulled on the big toothy part of the regulator up by where the crank gear is while trying the crank handle and the gears popped back in place.
Now I have a spare $20 window regulator, overall an inexpensive lesson.
Thanks for the help on this!
