Will 77 360/Np435 combo work in 91 W150
92....was fisrt magnum at least that is what I have heard from two years ago when checking for a Dodge truck...mine is a 91 and NOT a magnum....at least I don't thin it is!
Unless Dodge did something stupid (YOU DON'T SAY? lol), and I am completely wrong, I see no reason why it shouldn't be p-n-p between them. The harnesses should, in theory be the same.
Granted, this should all be taken with a grain of salt since I do not have an EFI 1st gen.

MNFarmboy, I would JY a computer and see if it plugs right in to the harness. If it does, I see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't work the 360 like it did in the truck the 360 came out of. Might ask the guy you got the motor from if he has the computer....
I haven't bought anything yet. I was looking at new computers, summit is selling stock remaned ones for $160, which isnt actually to bad. Im assuming that all of the sensors on the 360 will work with 360 computer??? OK, here i go.... I found another add on craigslist (I love craigslist) selling everything needed to do a 4 speed swap. I still plan on using my np241, what years of NP435 will bolt up to my tcase, it came out of a ramcharger (didnt state year) I believe that everything is compatible, am i correct.
The 360 computers look exactly the same. I'm almost positive they are interchangeable. All the sensors should be the same unless maybe the O2 sensors or MAP sensor are calibrated differently. But then again, those are in the 360's exhaust manifolds and throttle body, which you would be using.
OK, thanks for all the info so far. I'm planning on calling the guy with the motor tomorrow, hopefully it checks out. As far as the trans, i did a little more research and found that 81' to 93' np435 will bolt to np241. Would still like conformation that the ramcharger trans, pedals... will work, I'm pretty sure they are the same, but then again, what do i know. Sidenote, would it be harder to convert a auto to mechanical clutch or hydrolic clutch. Once again thanks for all the help
