Since the Ramcharger is a real short bed truck in a sense, all of the stuff save for the driveshatfs SHOULD be the same. like the pedal set and so on. That would be easy to find out by cross checking a few part numbers between the truck and ramcharger at rock auto or someplace that carries stock replacement parts.

Well, whatever you decide on good luck. I personally would love to do a 4 speed AUTO swap in for my 4 speed manual. Only reason is I have always felt that a good stout Auto is better off road (in general conditions) than a 4 speed and my non manual drivin GF could drive my truck in a pinch. I WOULD want a 4 speed auto or a 3sp w OD though. Plus, when I swap in a built 383......

Yeah, i definitely agree that the auto is better offroad, however I really dont see myself going offroading to much, I have gone, but realistically i wont go that much. And on the road i would much rather drive a manual.

It's funny with me because I use to totally refuse to own an auto truck or car. Until of course I drove my blazer with a swapped in hotted up 350 and turbo 700R4 and it rocked. Well, so did my Ramcharger which was also an auto. But the Ram had a 727 and 426 wedge, but I digress. Anyway, I hate auto cars unless they are hot rodded and have a hotted up auto. I do prefer driving a manual but in my truck I wouldn't MIND having a 4 speed auto. I also feel a manual is much more reliable than an auto no matter what is done to or how well built the auto is. You MIGHT have to install a new clutch every 80K miles but that is cheap compared to a rebuilt auto trans.

Well, as much as I drive, even if i replaced the clutch every 80K, that would would last me like 15 years. How much would you say a 89 360 with 85K miles is worth (assuming complete in working condition)
