Exclamation Help with 1989 W100 door

So my truck leaks in multiple streams at the top of the door when it rains. The weatherstripping seams to be good and the little trough above the door isnt rusted throught. The only thing i can figure is causing it is the part of the door the hinge bolts to is ripped. Could this be the problem or might it be something else. any suggestions appreciated.

That's the bottom hinge, so no, you've got something else going on here.

Have a buddy (or sibling. lol) hold a garden hose over the door and sit in the truck to see where it's coming in. That's the only advice I can give as my truck leaks, but the weatherstripping is so messed up I don't know what else it could be.

I was sitting in the truck today and it started pouring and it was dripping in five or six streams evenly spaced across the strait top part of the door.

I would soak the door, then try and pull the weather stripping back to see if there is any water BEHIND it. It may not be sealing well behind it, thereby allowing water in.

You can loosen the striker part of the door latch that's on the door frame, and tighten it back up wherever you need it. I would try moving it inward a 1/4 inch or so.

Close the door and from the outside check the alignment of the door in the opening.
Make sure that the panels are all on the same plane, one not sticking out more then the other.
Hinge's have lot to do with alignment. I would fix the hinge. Make sure alignment is good and go from there.

thanks for all the suggestions. i took someones advice and carefully bent the top of the door in by hand and it seems to have stopped leaking as bad but im gonna go to a shop and have them weld up the door and align it and see if that fixes it.
