well if you feel that is the way to go then go for it. there is not really much you can do with a stock obd1 dodge computer. you can get 1.7 harland sharp rockers and aftermarket intake, 52mm throttle body and high flow exhaust and that is about it without digging into the engine and really building things.

If you are going to put a 350 in it, you obviously don't have to comply with emissions regulations whatsoever.
So consider going to carb and doing this http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/t...d/viewall.html

thank you crazzywolfie I really love the 318 and it already has a good amount of power but just not enough for me but I just cant find a lot of aftermarket performance parts for it and wontacceptthis I live in Mississippi so we don't really have a lot of emission laws but I would never go from fuel injected to carb ecspecially not on a dodge.

The link i posted includes a full build that would be impossible with stock OBD-I magnum fuel injection. You'd need either megasquirt or similar, or a carb to do that many internal mods. I wasn't suggesting just slapping a carb on it. I was thinking along the lines of the average warmed-over carbed 350 that gets shoved into everything, but using the existing engine.
How much power do you want, and how much are you willing to spend?

well im really trying to get atleast 300 hp but keep it MPI ive herd I could just get bigger injectors and a bigger throttle body to give it more air and fuel and like a 3 inch full exhaust and it could produce around my 300 hp mark. I have never built a dodge engine so I am open to all ideas
