not sure if this is a tech question or not but I am missing a piece of trim on the passenger side of my box on my 87 w150. I have the trim piece I just cant find the clips anywhere! they are the style that has what looks to be a horn lookin top part and the bottom kinda looks like a handlebar moustache haha... and they attach to the pegs that sitck out on the body. anybody have a clue what im talking about know where I can buy some new ones...I robbed some off a donor truck but they were to brittle and kept breaking

A pic might help. Not sure exactly what type of clip you're talking about.

Im currently at college for auto mechanics and I went over to auto body and they had absolutely NO idea what I was talking about and I even showed them one of the ones off my truck that was broke.. I don't have any pictures of them and I cant find any pics on the internet...
I tried the clipsandfasteners.com, jcwhitney, rockuto, and a couple other google search pages but nothing turned up

As already stated, Dorman has a whole bunch of clips and fasteners that might be the ones you're looking for. I poked around their website for a while, but since I don't know what the clips look like, it was hard for me to get anywhere.

You also might try eBay and search for "Dodge trim clips" or "Dodge exterior trim clips" and see what comes up.

Good luck.

If the trim piece is small, how about some...double sided tape?

its about 2 1/2 foot long and pretty hefty for being plastic... if you go to my profile and look at the pic of my truck where it shows the passenger side you can see the clips that im talking about but they are all broke....at least it would give you an idea as to what shape and size they are
