I haven't replaced the cap and rotor but when I changed the plugs I checked them. They looked fine but I may go ahead and change them just because I don't know when it was done last.

Mine has not had a cat on it for about 2 years.

You pass inspections without a cat? You must know somebody.

Got out and drove the truck today. The hesitation and falling on its face seems to be fixed thanks to the new injectors. From a stop it does bog down just a second and then takes on off. So what might cause it not to respond when I give it gas? Still thinking timing?

grab a timing light and see what its set at... if its less than 5 before tdc then id advance it to about 10, mine was 15 behind what it was supposed to be, its amazing what a difference a few degrees makes

my "mini ox" converter on the y pipe is gone and my main cat is hollow but the shell is still there so it looks kinda legit

FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!! Drove it today went to drive it today....fell on its face. I didn't even get it of the driveway. Back to square one only this time with all new parts on it.

The most frustrating part is I know WHAT it's doing, hit the throttle and no fuel sprays from the injector. What I can't figure out is WHY no fuel sprays out. What is telling the injectors to not spray fuel?

Sounds like the only thing you haven't replaced is the map sensor

Where I live there are no emission test. And if there was both of my trucks are older than the required years.
