Well, the motor is ready to drop. Here are some Glamor shots before she goes in. Still trying to figure out how I want to re-route the Trans cooler lines due to the block hugger headers. if you want to see my time line of the build to date heres a link to pics and notes

You've got photobucket (you should try it). Pull up photo 800x600, right click with mouse copy, go to post (type your words), go under your text and right click mouse, left click on paste............... hit submit. Or something like that.

Nice work. K.

Thanks. I did figure out the "right" click option. I kept trying to insert url's and what not.

Default Update

Finally dropped the motor back home yesterday after school. These trucks sure are easy to work on with that front clip removed. Next I have to start making some electrical and vacum line mods since I removed the lean burn computer. After that it is getting towed to the exhaust shop for a nice dual exhaust install. My neighbors insist before I fire and dial this thing in.
I discovered, while installing the motor, that these trucks have very saggy and flexible frames.I was installing the Transmission crossmember and noticed how much persuasion it needed to get the frame to line up. Not good.Name: ENGINEDROP2.jpg

Nice clean installation and it looks great. While you have the front clip off have you considered changing your steering shaft to a Borgeson unit? I cant see the pictures too well with my crappy computer but it looks like you are using stock and the Borgeson will be a big improvement for you.

Ya know I hadnt thought about that, but now that you mention it I think I will swap the steering shaft out. I was planning on doing a 2"body lift while I was at it. Do they come with some room for adjustment?

Here read this from Borgeson website http://www.borgeson.com/troubleshoot...Shaft_Tech.htm
I just put one my truck last week.
Go ahead and replace the rag joint too.
Cheapest place to buy it http://mudflaps.com/i-9745787-borges...dge-truck.html
