Default Both Headlights Not Working

The headlights on my 1991 Ram 250 are not working. It is the low-beams only. I have been checking forums for the past two days but haven't been successful. Here is what I think I know:

High-Beams won't stay on. They come on when I pull the switch but, once I let go, they turn off.

The running lights and everything else work.

Fuse is good - unless there are fuses under the hood that I am unaware of. The engine bay is pretty sparse so I don't think I am missing anything.

There doesn't seem to be a relay for the headlights. My guess is that it's built into the dimmer switch.

I changed the dimmer switch (seemed to be most common on the threads) and they still didn't work.

I just found out today that the wipers don't work either. If anyone has any recommendations, please help.

The dimmer has nothing to with the headlights, I would check the multi function switch since it's the only thing that gives them power.

I replaced the switch on the steering column. I am still unclear as which switch is the dimmer and which s the multi-function. The switch on the steering column didn't do anything.

The dimmer switch dims the dash lights.

Anyone have any more ideas? Is there a fuse box under the hood that I am not seeing? Is there a relay for the headlights I am missing? I updated my post to say that the wipers don't work either.

"Moparite" said the switch doesn't have anything to do with the headlights. Should I go ahead and try it anyways?

Does anyone have recommendations on troubleshooting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Witch switch are you talking about here? This should be the multifunction switch on the left of the column. ???

I changed the dimmer switch (seemed to be most common on the threads) and they still didn't work.
Dimmer switch is part the headlight switch on the dash. It sounds like you need to change the multifunction switch on the column or at least test it and find where the issue is.

Sorry, I was talking about the multifunction switch. The brights come on when I pull it but turn off once I let go. The multi-function switch is the one I replaced too. It didn't have any effect.

I'm not sure of how the mechanism is on your truck but sound like it's not locking it into the high beam position since the lights work when you pull it back.
