Brakes Pulsating
#11
It used to be that darn near every auto shop around here had a brake lathe....... and would turns drums/rotors for 5 to 10 bucks. (each....) Today though...... they have become rare as hens teeth, and most shops don't bother with them, and just put on new. (and then have pulsation problems.....) I don't think ANY of the parts stores have a lathe....... I've never seen one. A regional thing?

Sorry to say most replacement rotors/drums are from China and I don’t know why we’ve seen Warped and out of round rotors/drums from O Reilly’s and Advance on both our GM and Dodge trucks.
I now get our brake stuff from Summit Racing and it costs a bit more but every rotor/drum from them has been perfect.
