Default How to adjust speed control 1986 B350?

Does anyone know how to adjust the speed control (cruise) solenoid at the carburetor? I'm not sure what it is called. It's a 1986 B350 Van 360ci automatic. It works but bleeds off 15-20 mph. As far as I can tell, there are no vac leaks or elec problems.

That solenoid doesn't have anything to do with cruise control. There should be a servo at the other end of one of the cables on the throttle linkage for cruise. If it is bleeding off speed, you either have a problem with the servo, or, something isn't getting the right speed readings.

Thanks for reply. Here's what I have found:

The single wire from the servo connects to the single wire on the solenoid. Mine had been disconnected. I connected and cruise now works, it just bleeds off about 15-20mph. Therefore the solenoid definitely is part of the speed control. The solenoid looks like it opens (rod goes out) and connects with the throttle and therefore keeps the speed.

Servo and cable should hold throttle open...... I have no clue what role that solenoid plays. I was under the impression that it was to bump idle with the A/C compressor engaged..... That's just weird. The solenoid doesn't show up anywhere in the wiring diagram.
