Just bought back a 92 d250 with a 360.truck quit running on p.o. and they took off the coil.which color wire is the positive and which is the negative?

 

Pink wire, if you have one, should be positive. Black/yellow is negative.

 

the grey wire should go to the negative side and the dark green/orange wire should go to the positive. you can even double check it with a test light or multi meter. the coil positive wire should have power for a few seconds after you cycle the key on so a test light should light up if you hooked it up positive coil wire.
