92 W150 318 cranks but won't fire
Have a 1992 Dodge Ram W150 4x4 that is used as plow truck. All of sudden the truck won't fire. In the process of diagnosing, the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, and distributor cap & button have all been replaced with no change. The temperature has been averaging around 0 degrees for weeks. Towed truck to a neighbor's heated garage and within a few hours it started after just a few cranks. Even after it started, when the truck was drove home it would act like it didn't have enough fuel when under a load such as a hill. In the past the truck has had issues with stalling after you let off the fuel to change gears. I don't know if it's all related or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When we first started tinkering on it, we discovered that the all the fuel pump would do is click. So we replaced the fuel pump to discover no change. Then next we towed it to a heated garage and put a new fuel pump relay. Drove it home but went to start this morning to find nothing changed. All it does is turn over. We even tried giving it a spray of starting fluid to see if it might take off that but didn't effect it at all. So now we are wondering about spark issue. Thats when we replaced the distributor cap and button because the truck has already been through a couple in it's lifetime. After install of new distributor cap and button still all it does is turn over.

Commonly when an ignition coil is on its way out it won't produce a hot enough spark when it's cold. Warm it up and it will start firing again. Had a similar problem with a Grand Cherokee years ago. Ran fine all summer and then the first time the temps dipped below freezing that fall it wouldn't start. Where you've already replaced the rotor and cap my $$ is on the coil.
