Default Transmission leak

1990 Dodge W150 318 4x4. I have a transmission fluid leak. Transmission shop says it’s the seal pump which means they will have to drop the tranny to do the work. Along with replaces all seals and gaskets. They are giving me an estimate of $1200-1250. Also they will test the torque converter. If that needs replaced it will be an additional $200-250. Does this seem like a reasonable cost?

I have to agree with this sentiment. And if you are going to rebuild it, replace the torque converter.
