93 W250 5.9L Cummins Won’t Do Anything When Key is Turned
My 93 W250 Cummins all of a sudden stopped doing anything when the key is turned. No heating the grid, nothing when trying to start it either. The door buzzer works when the key is in and I can shift as well (it’s an automatic). Any ideas? I thought it could be the ignition burned up, but I wanted to check with you guys before I spent that kind of money. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
P.S. I have replaced the battery terminal connectors and the starter a couple weeks ago, and everything was working until a few days ago. And checked all fuses.

does everything else in the cab work as it should with the key on? best to take a multi meter or test light to the fuse panel with the key in the run position to see which fuses are getting power and which ones are not. that will help narrow down where the issue is
Yeah everything else works except the heater, which hasn’t worked since I bought it a few months ago. Do you think it’s an electrical leak or could it be a burned out ignition switch maybe? I’m sorry to treat you like my personal mechanic, but my truck only has electrical problems and all my friends are only afraid of working on electrical stuff in cars/trucks.
if everything in the cab is working then the issue is likely under the hood. you might have a bad fusible link powering the asd relay. usually a pretty simple fix but a bit of a pain to get at. the heater not working is likely also another blown fusible link.
I’ll try to trace and find more fusible links, I checked right behind the two that connect to the positive battery terminal and they seemed to be working.
